Jenerates Sewing Ruler
Buy the Sewing Ruler from Jenerates. A square ruler is really useful when you're sewing, but Jen was never able to find exactly what she was looking for, so she designed her own! The ruler starts at zero at both the inside and outside corners so you can use it whichever way best lets you see what you are doing. Cut outs make easy work of adding or subtracting seam and hem allowances - great for hacking patterns! The cut outs are big enough to use with a chalk pencil directly onto your fabric, and shaped so you can use them with an ordinary pen or pencil on your paper pattern.
Made from 4 mm thick cherry wood veneer. Hand finished with wax polish.
Choose between metric and imperial measurements.
Metric ruler: Overall dimensions: 10 cm x 10 cm // Cut outs: 1 cm, 1.5 cm, 3 cm // Hem allowance: 3 cm // Deep facing: 7 cm.
Imperial ruler: Overall dimensions: 4" x 4" // Cut outs: 1/4", 1/2", 5/8" // Hem allowance: 1 1/4" // Deep facing: 2 3/4".
